Icarus forgot what his father warned him about flying near the sun. He is so filled with excitement and exhilaration of flying that he absentmindedly flew too high and too close to the sun. Because of the intense heat radiated from the sun, the wax on Icarus wings melted and the feathers loosen. Making him fall into the sea and get drawn.
